Brief Description: Drill holes on canopy frame ribs and templates
I marked the ribs and drilled the holes at the locations called out on the prints.
I had drilled the holes with a number 40 drill because it is easier and more accurate for the initial hole. Then I took the #30 drill and opened up all the holes.
So you learn that the benefit of making mistakes is using some of the parts you trashed to cut up and make tooling or other handy items and not having to "buy" material....since you have a stock from the trash pile. Anyway....just putting a positive twist on the issue.
So I took a piece of scrap aluminum and make six templates as per the plans to transfer the holes for the ribs into the fiberglass skirts when I get to that point.
