Brief Description:  Mid Cabin Covers #2

After two days of not working on the project due to a pretty bad sinus infection I felt as though I could make some coherent plans to design and execute the skills necessary for the modification of the right Mid Cabin Cover.

I really like using the fine Sharpie markers to lay everything out on the panel before I make the cuts (which are the point of no return). So using the Sharpies I got it all laid out. Sometimes using different colors to deliniate various lines for cuts, no cuts, and drill holes etc.

When cutting openings I always figure what radius I want in corners and then using drills or step drills place the radii first in the corners and then use them to define the cuts from corner to corner. It really works out good because then you cut close to the tangent point and finish with a file.

Anyway, I made sure that the door would clear the side panel of the console I made which helped to define the size which is plenty ample to reach throughout the compartment and fumble through the junk that will inevitable fill the compartment haha.
