Deburred the elevator skin. There is a lot of linear surface to cover in the deburring process. I think sometimes from my toolmaking background I spend too much time with the deburring process. Either way...it takes a while to get these larger surfaces through the debur process.
My process basically uses this sequence: Draw file the edges, dovetail deburring tool to break the edges, needle files to get the curved nooks and crannies, next a sanding sponge, then a red scotch brite pad and sandpaper for curved areas if needed. I only use the scotch bright wheel for smaller parts and only when it is practical. My edges come out smooth and shiney.
So....deburring and prepping took almost 2 hours.......
