Brief Description: Prime - Seats and misc panels #1
Got the paint gun set up and began shooting primer on the parts. I like the Stewart System primer. It can be used straight out of the can and diluted with up to 10% of distilled water if needed. I diluted the primer a little. I had to mix a little more to finish the panels. I have been tending to mix too much and end up throwing away a few ounces. At the cost of about $80.00 per quart, I try to get it as close as possible.
The primer dries fast and can be sanded within 20-30 minutes of priming. It can be topcoated 2-3 hours after priming.
After priming the tedious task of using red scotch-bright pads and 320 grit sandpaper to prep the panels for topcoating.
