So I went to start adjusting the elevator UP limit stop and found it was going to be just a bit of a problem. With the horn resting on the F-812 UP stop I had a 19 degree angle.
The UP stop has a minimum angle of 25 degrees and max of 30 degrees. I knew I would have to adjust the stop quite a bit. So I decided to take the F-812 stop off all together and see what the angle would be. When I did so I found that the horn on the left side actually touched the bulkhead. When I measured the angle the best I could get was about 24 degrees. Hmmmm, not enough...I took these pics below and sent Vans builder support an email with the photos and asked them for a course of action.
Let me say that I have contacted Vans builder support a handful of times and they have ALWAYS been very helpful and responsive....they are a great resource in these times. So the email is sent and I will wait for a response.
