Brief Description:  Drill Elevator Horn

After speaking with Sterling at Vans I got down to measuring where I would locate the hole in
the Left Elev Horn that would give me the Minimum Edge Distance (MED) for the location on the
Right Elev Horn once I transferred the hole from the left side. I measured multiple times. I was trying to move the hole from the print callout location as minimally as I could. It was kind of
difficult to really percieve where the hole would fall on the Right Elev Horn due to the difference
in the horns both laterally and vertically.

After measuring and placing a small fudge factor, I marked the spot for the hole that I felt would give me the MED on the Right Elev Horn while moving the hole minimally as possible. I kept the
location paralles to the front edge of the horn.

I used a #40 drill to drill the pilot hole in the horn....then opened it up to final size with a #12 drill.

Next step will be to make a transfer block close to one inch thick to transfer the hole good and
square to the first hole.
