Brief Description:  Attaching the HS (cont)

When I got back to the project I double checked the measurements and readings. Made sure that the fwd spacers F-810E and the F-811 spacers I had to add were all properly positioned prior to before entering the "valley of no return" by drilling holes that become unchangable once done!!!

One thought....I LOVE double sided sticky tape and scotch tape. I used a micrometer to determine that Scotch tape is only about .001 thick and double sided masking tape is roughly .002-.003 which is basically the thickness of a human hair. I used scotch tape to hold the F-810E spacers in place while maneuvering the HS into position. the stayed in position perfectly. The thickness of the tape has NO impact on the real positioning of the HS but saved a lot of headache in chasing moving spacers.

Anyway....took my time...measured and re-measured the hole locations in order to have minimum edge distances correct. After a good work session the HS attachment is completed! Now on to the VS.
