Brief Description:  Alternator blast tube

Log 2 of 3. I cut a 11/16” hole in the right forward air ramp using a step bit. This is for a blast tube to cool the back of the alternator. I fabbed a bracket from steel—heated with my torch to put a twist in it and drilled holes for mounting. Gave it a shot of primer, then a shot of black paint. This bracket will attach to the baffle tension rod and to an adel clamp which will secure the blast tube. I am using some of Van’s corrugated tubing (same stuff used for mag blast tubes) for alternator blast tube. I used a piece of heavy electrical wire zip tied to the tube to keep the curve needed to reverse the flow to the back of the alternator.
