I received some miniature nutplates and eyeballs for firewall penetration. Good friend Richard C. (RV-7A) dropped by today and bucked the rivets for the miniature nutplates. Later I added a diode to the starter contactor, then mounted to the firewall. Tonight, I began laying out a template to fit the 3 eyeballs for throttle, mixture, prop. The existing holes in the firewall are too close together to fit the eyeball mounts, so I plan to offset with new holes. Thought I’d better make a template first to make darn sure everything will fit before I start cutting 1” holes in the firewall.
