Apparantly moving the holes in the firewall was fairly successful. I deburred both sides of the holes and blew all of the cuttings etc out of the holes. I hung the mount on with some 3/16” bolts and started with the 3/8” bolts. The first three took almost no effort to move the mount into position. The fourth bolt took only minimal effort to insert the bolt. I added washers and nuts and tightened them down. Did not install cotter pins yet-not certain if the mount may need to be removed for any f/w items.
