Received some wire and Dsubs today. I’m going to use a 15 pin Dsub to make a connection just after the wiring for the infinity grip exits the rear stick so that the stick can be easily removed. I saw this idea on Mike Elliott’s web-log—great tip—thanks Mike! I used a piece of angle to make a bracket to hold the Dsub. I actually made two brackets—the first one the hole spacing was off just a bit, so I cut another piece of angle and started again. After I got the mounting holes correct, I cut the center out with a dremel cutoff wheel and filed it to final shape. I will attach the Dsub with some hardware from an old computer. Cleaned up the bracket and shot some primer. Next session, I hope to mount the bracket and run some wiring.
