Scuffed & cleaned the U807 brackets and shot with primer. After the primer dried, I used the pneumatic squeezer to set the 16 AN426 rivets to secure the 8 nutplates. After reading ahead about installing the wheel pants, I may have added the nutplates a bit too early. However, I’ve seen lots of other logs where the builders have added the nutplates to the brackets prior to starting the wheel pants, so I know it can be done. I installed the U807 brackets, axles and brake calipers to each side of the Grove gear. Torqued the AN4 bolts to 65 in.lbs. Next up is to split the wheels and add some tires.
