Brief Description:  Added axles, checked toe in/out

I’ve neglected the plane for a short break, but back in the shop tonight. I bolted on the axles using hardware store bolts (not sure why store bolts, but that’s what the manual says to use). I cut two spacers from some bar stock—will use these to check toe in/toe out. After the axles were bolted up, I picked up the fuse by the axle while Nancy slid the sawhorse out from under the false spar. Repeat for the other side—now the bottom of the gear is resting on a short piece of 4x4. I raised the tail and blocked it up until the fuse was level. The tail really has to get high in the air for this. Then leveled the fuse along the roll axis. I used filament tape to attach the spacers to the front of the axles, then stretched a string across the face of each. Yipee—cannot see any toe in or toe out issues. Apparantly, when I drilled the gear to the fuse, must have gotten real lucky in the alignment department. Manual says to draw center line on the floor, but that is for wheel pant alignment and gear leg fairing alignment. With the Grove gear, I get to skip the gear leg fairing, and will deal with the wheel pants after she’s flying.
