Decided to move away from the canopy skirts for now. The skirts need some fiberglass work—my original plan was to do all fiberglass near the end of the build, therefore I moved to working on the gear. Started off by removing the canopy/frame—put this assembly back in the shipping crate for safe keeping. Removed the top front skin followed by the roll bar. Then I flipped the fuse upside down—started to remove the rotisserie, but got a bit ahead of the plans. Need to flip it back and ream the ¼” and 7/16” holes in the WD813 gear weldment. Unpacked the Grove gear and hardware from a very “bulletproof” crate-did a quick inventory. Reamed the holes in the U806 inboard wear plate to 5/16”. The Grove U804 inboard bracket is already drilled to the gear. I slipped the AN6 bolts thru the inboard bracket and the wear plate--very nice fit. I need to pick up a new 7/16” bit tomorrow so that I can drill the wear plate using the inboard bracket as a guide.
