Brief Description:  Sanded aft skirts-again

I sanded the SuperFil on the aft skirts tonight. It is getting real close to something I can accept. I match drilled the skirts to the frame, bringing up the 1/8” holes to #30. I removed the skirts and deburred the holes in the canopy frame. Fiddled with the countersink on some scrap until I got the depth where I wanted it. I want the pop rivets to sit just a fraction below the surface so I can get a clean, smooth surface on the sides of the skirts. I looked at some logs today and see than many have to trim the canopy latch arm in order to make it catch the nub on the roll bar. I want to get it cut and working while the skirts are off—easier to reach thru the side of the frame. I need to pick up some plastic tape to mask off the canopy in prep for sikaflex soon.
