Next, I sanded the inside of the skirt where I had added a couple more layers of glass. I cut a plate from .040 and bent it to fit the curve inside the aft skirt area. I plan to rivet a pull ring to this backing plate. Laid out and punched holes in the plate, then match drilled to the skirt. Clecoed the skirt back to the canopy frame.
