I unstrapped the skirts near the aft junction and removed the peel ply. Next, I removed the clecoes and the strap holding the skirts together. WOW—nothing moved-actually looks pretty decent. I sanded the edges of the new glass and ruffed up the lower area. I cut a couple of pieces of glass and mixed up a batch of resin. Wet the glass and applied to the aft lower skirt area. Smoothed out the glass with a stiff bristle brush and applied peel ply. Tomorrow, I’ll remove the skirts and apply some glass to the underside of the aft joint.
