I going to give the skirts one last chance to straighten up, else I will glue leather or cloth (whatever matches interior) to the inside of the skirts. So, I took the sanding primer off of a couple of panels on the right skirt, then sanded the @%$# out of the glass. I managed to get rid of most of the waves etc. I used a #80 grit sanding disk and about 2 hours of elbow grease. I may be able to save a few bucks on leather after all. I’ll fine sand and shoot with sanding primer and then decide whether to continue sanding and then paint or start looking for cow hide.
