Finished sanding the outside of the right skirt. Climbed inside the cockpit and shut the canopy—flew around the shop for awhile, did some rolls, loops—you get the picture. While I was inside, I drew a line on the skirts using the bottom of the glass/sika as a guide. I will use this line to establish where to paint the inside skirt, leaving the area from the line to the lip edge for application of sika later on. After my short flight, I climbed out and removed both skirts. Sanded the inside of both—the inside sands much easier than the outside. Also cleaned up the edges of the micro fillets and the micro along the bottom edge. Next session, I will mix up a batch of micro and smooth the edges on the bottom as well as the fillets.
