I ran a line of tape which just covered the blue line on the top edge of the left skirt. I trimmed the skirt along this tape line. Sanded the edge and pulled the tape off. Still have 1/16” of skirt between the edge and the blue line. I think I may make a final sanding and leave the top as is. Had another thought regarding the top edge of the skirt not covering the sika near the curve toward the back. I could run a ¼” line in black on the inside of the canopy just above the sika glue. From the outside this would give the appearance similar to what is seen on many late model cars on fixed glass windows—will explore this option further.
