Worked on the rear end of the skirts. Pulled the 2 skirts together at the back and held them together with duct tape. Match drilled some holes thru some .032 into each skirt and clecoed together. Removed the duct tape—back end looks like something I can live with. Still have some gap along the curve to contend with, but overall the fit is not too bad. I plan to rivet a strip of .032 to the underside of the skirts where they join at the back. I want to install a pull ring on the back to assist in opening the canopy. I had some extra anti rotation tabs left over from the fuel tank end plates. I match drilled them to some .032 and smoothed up the inside and outside. Plan is to cut a slot thru the strip that joins the 2 skirt halves and rivet in the pull ring.
