Ran a line of masking tape on the right side frame and marked for holes. I like to use masking tape because it is easy to mark with the center punch. Drilled the holes to 1/16” and then opened them up to #40. I drilled the holes on this side about a 1/16” lower than the left side—with the hope that the skirt will better hug the fuselage skin. On the left side, although I haven’t trimmed to the final line, I have a gap all along the bottom edge of 1/8” to 3/16”. It fits better after the curve starts up the side and fits pretty well at the back. May try using the heat gun to see if I can turn the bottom edge down a bit. If this doesn’t get the fit I want, I may have to add some fiberglass under the edge—not a fun prospect.
