Center punched the marks on the lower frame and up to the rear bow, as well as the 3 vertical tubes. After center punching, I drilled all markings using a 1/16” bit, followed by a #41 drill. Removed the tape and deburred all holes. Put the left skirt back into position and taped as best I could. Used a strap duplicator and drilled all holes along the lower tube and a couple leading toward the rear bow. I missed drilled the last hole toward the rear bow. Sometimes the strap duplicator lies—or maybe the operator was delirious from the 103 degree heat. Will have to fill the hole in the skirt and redrill. I was able to use the strap duplicator to drill all of the holes in the vertical tube near the front edge of the canopy. Also, I was able to drill the first 2 holes on the second and third vertical tubes. I need a longer strap duplicator to reach the top 2 holes on these tubes as well as the last 3 holes leading to the rear bow, or will need to fab some sort of template to use to match drill. I think the skirt fit better before I clecoed it to the frame—rear fits pretty well, but the sides don’t seem to lay a flat as before. Will have to figure out why and get it to lay a bit closer to the skin.
Chucked the bit short so didn't hit the back wall of the tube
