Brief Description:  Canopy skirts-3

More foolin around with the left skirt. Spent lots of time getting nothing done. Biggest issue is what to do and how to do it. I finally got the skirt into the position I think I can live with. Taped it on (tape doesn’t hold it well) so I had Nancy hold in position while I reached thru the front (where the windscreen was removed) and marked thru the hole for the canopy latch. While in position, I also marked where to cut the back of the skirt to clear the slider rail. Removed skirt and drilled the marked hole for the latch, then opened it up with a unibit. Trimmed a relief in the rear skirt to clear the rail. Put back in position—think this may work. Next I marked on the lower tube where to drill for skirt attachment. Plans show the holes are set at an angle—have to figure out how to get close to that angle. If the angle is too far up on the tube, it may pull the lower part of the skirt away from the skin. If too far down the tube, may cause the skirt to rub the top of the fuse. This may not really be an issue at all, but I need to get it right in my mind before drilling.
