Removed all the tape from the frame and cleaned it with Napatha. Nancy helped me put the canopy/frame back onto the fuselage. Looks good. Next, I re-taped the windscreen and began finishing the edges. I final sanded the bottom edge and started around the bow, but ran short on time. I plan to store it away for now and thought I’d better remove any potential stress cracks. My current plan is to work on the skirts followed by drilling the gear. I received my landing gear from Grove last week—ordered the gear back in February. I need to get the gear drilled next for several reasons. I’ve held off brake lines, fuel vent lines and wiring in the gear towers while waiting to drill the gear.
