Clecoed the 804 cap strip to the 805 spacer. Used a #27 countersink for the holes that will accept AN507 screws. Changed countersink cutters and countersunk the holes that had been drilled to #41. The 805 spacer makes a good backstop for the c/s operation. Removed the clecos and deburred both parts. I clamped the 805 spacer to the workbench. I changed the countersink cage about 3 clicks to give a slightly deeper c/s on the back side of the 805 spacer. Cleaned up with a maroon scotchbrite pad and soap, then shot a coat of primer. After the primer dried, I clecoed the cap strip and spacer together. I used the pneumatic squeezer to double flush rivet the AN426AD3-6 rivets—turned out very nice. I put the nylon slide on the rail—works really slick!
