Brief Description: Install left & right floorboards
In the middle of the night, after thinking more about that bracket to hold the pitot line, it dawned on me that moving it forward might interfere with wing bolt insertion. Early this AM, I checked and sure nuff, it would have. So, I scrapped the bracket idea and filled all the holes with rivets. I turned the “T” sideways and will come into it from the center. I drilled a new hole for AOA line and installed a grommet. I plugged the old hole with a cap-plug. I re-installed the front floor and footwell assembly—no clearance problems. So, I proceeded to pop rivet the left and right floorboards in using LP4-3 rivets. I dipped each rivet in primer then squeezed them in. Next, I installed the flap torque tube assembly. Sure hope I didn’t miss anything and have to drill out all these rivets! The inside is beginning to look like an airplane that could someday fly.
