Brief Description: C/S fuse holes for flap fairing
Very cold in the shop today-so this was another short session. After looking at the forward holes on the flap fairing, I decided the two layers were enough for a machine countersink—so, that’s what I did—8 holes on each side of the fuse. After the countersinking was done, I sanded the trailing edge of the right wing tip. This was the tip I had previously split, then glued back together to get the alignment with the aileron correct. I had built up one side a bit with a resin/micro slurry to get everything evened out. Still need a bit more micro to fill in some depressions, but getting close. Only got 1 pic—think my camera is wanting warmer weather. This session makes the 1900 hour mark in my build--sure hope the end is getting near!
