Brief Description:  Heat control valve-2

Back to the heater control cable tonight. I slid the cable inside a length of clear plastic tubing to reduce any abrasion between the cable and the firewall. I snaked the cable around the inside of the firewall and secured with an adel clamp to a stiffner just after the cable exits the gear tower. I added a couple of zip ties along the cable and started on another adel clamp near the end of the cable. Drilled a hole in the backing angle and countersunk. Struggled with the adel clamp for way too long—just could not get it to fit. Arrrr! I had picked up a -4 clamp instead of a -5, no wonder I couldn’t make it work. Gave up for the night—will finish this tomorrow.
