Added cotter pins to the master cylinders/rudder pedals. Received the plunger lock from McMaster Carr. Drilled the arm on the parking valve arm to 21/64” and tapped to 3/8”x24. Screwed the lock into the arm. Looks like this should work out ok. I have been conversing with fellow RV8 builder Bill Crissinger regarding mounting the valve to the F866A1 bulkhead. We have both determined that we may need a bit more stiffening of the bulkhead. Tonight, I laid out a larger mount for the brake valve. I plan to use the same 3 rivet holes along the bottom of the bulkhead, but with the larger mount, I can add a few more rivets further up from the bottom. After laying out the mount on poster board, I transferred to some .063 stock—then grabbed the hacksaw and began hacking.
