Before starting the last rear deck section, I needed to set a rivet inside the 882 canopy rail receptacle. I looked around the shop and finally settled on an 8’ long steel bar that was 1.75” wide and 7/16” thick. Used a hacksaw to cut off a piece ¾” long and polished one side with 400 grit sandpaper. I used this as a “mini” bucking bar to get the rivet in the rail receptacle—worked out great! Next, Nancy and I moved on to the last section of the side skin/rear deck. Got them all set except for a lone straggler at the back. The little tab would not lay flat—may be in need of some JB Weld to hold in place.
