Got another 24 rivets set tonight, but I’m about to run out of arm length. Looks like it’s just about time to get some blankets in the tunnel and let Nancy start hammering with the rivet gun while I buck from the inside. Rivets in the longerons are fairly easy to set properly, however, I had a problem with one rivet on the rear bulkhead. It layed over twice and after drilling out the second time, the hole was getting a bit loose. I drilled it to #30, and considered an opps rivet, but if it didn’t set any better than the first two, I could really have a problem. So, I used a Cherrymax for this hole. It will never be seen anyway as the bulkhead is hidden under the empennage fairing.
