Played with the flap actuator a bit more, then cut the static line and attached to flap motor shaft. Ran the flaps up and down—the static line tubing will work just fine to protect to flap wires. Received a firewall terminal feed thru today. Marked location on lower left of firewall and drilled a pilot hole. Used a step bit to open the hole up to 7/8”. Inserted the terminal and used the existing holes in the terminal to match drill thru the firewall. Inserted a couple of screws and secured the terminal. Added the battery cable and secured with an adel clamp. I will need to get some metal locknuts for the firewall side then will be done with this end of the battery cable.
