Brief Description:  Flap motor wire protection

I want to protect the wiring that goes to the flap motor as it moves up and down while extending or retracting flaps. Saw this method on some builders site—can’t remember which one, but thanks to whomever! Drilled a #41 hole in the lower longeron to pass some static line tubing thru which will house the flap motor wires, then opened up to 1/4". Drilled a #41hole thru the fuse to secure the bottom of the line—mistake, should have checked flap fairing location first. Looks like the screw will be under the fairing flange—not good if I ever need to remove the adel clamp. Got out the left flap fairing and put it approximate location, drew some lines on the fuse skin where the fairing “should” end up. Drilled a new hole which will be beneath the fairing. Should be easy to fully extend the flaps and still be able to access the screw. Drilled the hole up to #19 and dimpled for flush screw. The other end of the line will be secured to the flap motor shaft with adel clamps. Still need to run the flaps up and down some more before cutting the end of the line.
