I installed some D-Sub pins to the ends of the pitch servo cable. Used a crimper from Stein to crimp the pins to the wires. Applied some shrink tubing and then inserted the pins into the shell. Checked everything for continuity to make certain I had a decent crimp. Forgot to take a pic until I was done with inserting the pins—most of you have seen it before on other logs. I will order some “snakeskin” to put these wires in, and then run everything forward. Next, I laid out a doubler on some .040 for the transponder antenna. I have a location picked for the antenna, but want to check with the knowledgeable bunch on VAF before cutting into the fuse bottom skin.
