Brief Description:  Fuel line plumbing-3

The last entire evening was spent looking at the EFII fuel pump & filter setup trying to figure out how to run the lines-finally came up with a plan. I am going to use nutserts to mount the body of the fuel pump to the fuselage floor and will mount a plate on the top of the unit to secure the inline filter. Made a 90 degree bend at the outlet end of the filter to connect with the inlet of the pump. The filter will be secured to the top plate with a large adel clamp. After making up the fittings for the filter out-pump in piece of the puzzle, I located the hole where I want to mount the adel clamp. Drilled the hole to #19 and used my #8 nutplate jig to locate the rivet holes. This hole will be drilled out to #10 in order to use a #10 screw in lieu of the #8. Once the filter is secured, I will start the line from the fuel valve. However, it appears I will be short on tubing. Vans doesn’t give you much to spare. So far I’ve only scrapped about 7 inches and looks like I may be short about 10 inches.
