Cut out the .040 mounting plate using the template I previously had made from poster board. Clecoed the angles to the fuse longerons and clamped the mounting plate to angles. Removed the angles and match drilled #40 the angles to the mounting plate. Opened the holes up to #19, then used a nutplate jig to drill for the rivet holes to hold the nutplates. Machine countersunk the holes. Cleaned up the angles and mounting plate—scuffed, MEK, Dawn, MEK and shot with primer. Squeezed rivets to attach the nutplates. Clecoed the angles back into the fuse. Dipped LP4-3 pop rivets in primer and attached the angles to the longerons. Added the mounting plate—DONE!
