Brief Description:  Front NACA Vent

Need something to hook the new Stein vent to, so I started on the NACA vent . Cut a template and taped it to the side of the fuselage--used the template to drill some 1/16” holes in the fuse. Next I taped the NACA vent to the inside of the fuse and match drilled the vent. I fabbed a piece of .025 that will be used as a doubler on the back of the vent. Taped the doubler to the NACA vent and used a punch to transfer the holes thru the vent. Clecoed the vent and doubler in the fuse and match drilled to #41. Lightly countersunk the NACA vent, and dimpled the fuse for -3 rivets. Will wait to rivet the vent in until after the cockpit is shot with primer.
