Brief Description: Elevator trim wire/safety wired trim tab hinge
Finished up a few loose ends today. Searched Lowe’s Aviation Dept and found some small rubber grommets. I installed a small grommet in the hole previously drilled in the end of the left elevator for the trim wires. Then I installed the trim motor with wires. Safety wired the pin that goes thru the hinge on the trim tab. Moved the elevator back to spare bedroom. Also moved the aft top skin to my Mom’s garage and stored with the wings. Suddenly the shop seemed to expand in size! Cleaned up the shop, then re-arranged to take advantage of the revised space. Vacuumed all of the inside of the fuselage—intend to prime the cockpit in the near future.—2 hrs
