Finished sanding the bushing for a tight fit—no side play in the sticks. Adjusted the F839 pushrod until sticks were parallel. Removed all of the flooring. Stuck the WD807 control column thru the slot in the spar. Mounted the column with the rod end bolts adjusted per plans. Inserted and bolted in the front and rear stick. Connected both to the F839 pushrod that fits thru the center of the column. Installed the F840 pushrod to the rear stick socket. Inserted bolts, washers and nuts and snugged everything up. I will have to remove the bolt that connects the front sitck to the pushrod and grind some threads for clearance. Had some kinda fun getting all the washers installed, AND I was using a washer wrench. Still had to chase tiny washers all over the fuselage before finally getting them all installed. Probably get to do this all over again—just hope it’s not more than a few times. The left and right roll is a little tight. Will have to investigate what’s going on with that.
