Brief Description:  Control Column-1

Started on the WD807 control column. Reamed all holes to either ¼” or #12 depending on bolt size. Reamed the brass bushing to #12. Began the slow process of trimming the ends of the bushings to fit inside the WD807. Brass gets really hot when removing material with the band sander. Even with welder’s gloves, the bushings get too hot to handle for very long. In between sanding (while cooling), I marked and match drilled the WD812B rear control stick socket and the WD812 rear stick to #13, then reamed to #12. Back to the bushing for more sanding. Still not quite there, but getting closer.
