Removed the VS and HS. Deburred all holes. Checked the edge distance on the bottom of the VS front spar—perfect. Good thing I only cut 3/8” instead of 9/16” per the plans—I would have been 3/16” short! Primed the attach plate and spacer as well as the F810 spacers. Riveted the attach plate with spacer to the VS spar using the pneumatic squeezer. Mounted the HS back to the fuse. Think I’ll work on the control column mounting before installing the elevators. Back end of my shop is shrinking fast!
