Riveted the doubler with striker plate to the front part of the baggage shelf. Removed the one proud rivet and set a new one. Riveted hinge to baggage shelf. Bent the hinge pin and assembled the latch—used a lock washer under the small screw plus locktite to keep the parts secured. This mod took a total of 12.2 hours—time consuming, but should be valuable when the aircraft is put in service.
