Laid out the holes on the hinge and drilled to #41. Clamped the hinge to the baggage shelf and match drilled. Fit the lid to the hinge and match drilled the lid using the holes in the hinge as a guide. Filed the front of the lid until I had a flush fit with the front of the baggage shelf. Man, do I work slow. Next up, need to dimple/countersink then ready for primer—need to search for some sort of latch. Also, just passed the 500 hour mark in my quest for a flying machine. Woo-Hoo!
