Checked with Van’s regarding flap block/longeron edge distance issue. They said to drill the blocks in the center and not worry about the longeron edge distance. “There is little lateral load and nutplate/floor is effectively reinforcing the edge of the hole” in the longeron. I had already ordered new flap blocks before getting the email from Van’s, so I will drill the new ones and see if I can get any closer than the first set. If not-I’ll build on! Got the rotiserrie bolted up in the front—will find some help this weekend to lift the fuse and get it attached. Also received a new right angle drill attachment from A/C Spruce. My old one was a miniature with 10-32 threads—hard to find threaded bits and other attachments for this size. The larger attachment uses ¼-28 threads. Machine c/s the F805C floor support angle.
