I put a very small ding in the spar one bay over from the inspection opening. It was very small (could barely feel it dragging a finger nail across the area)--probably would not have caused problems—but I didn’t want to leave it. I taped off the area around the damage and carefully sanded the ding. Didn’t take much blending to smooth out. Then sanded with 600 grit and used a q-tip dipped in primer to cover the area. Darn hard doing this looking in a small inspection mirror!
