Opened up the top of the cut out just a bit more, then used a scotchbrite wheel followed by some fine sandpaper. Clamped the backing strips to the wing which was overlayed by the template. Match drilled thru the strip and wing with a #41 drill. Flipped the wing over and repeated on the bottom side.
