Brief Description: L. Flap-Riveted flap brace to spar and wing skin
On the QB wing the flap brace has to be riveted to the rear spar with blind rivets. After dipping the rivets in primer, I used my new air/hydraulic rivet gun to set the MSP-42 rivets and the three CR3212-4-6 cherry rivets on the end of the spar. Then, using the pneumatic squeezer, I set the AN426AD3-4 rivets joining the wing skin, flap brace and flap hinge. All rivets turned out very nice—nothing to drill out here!
