Scuffed left flap brace, hinge and rear spar area, cleaned with MEK, dawn soap, MEK again, then shot with NAPA 7220 primer. While waiting for the primer to dry, I machine countersunk the right flap brace, and cut two eyes from the center of the flap hinge (wing side) for the hinge pin retainer. I c/s the wing skin were the two NAS “keeper” rivets had been removed. Back to the left flap-riveted a nutplate to the backside of the flap brace. Clecoed flap brace and hinge to the rear spar and skin. Ready to rivet!
