Back to the left flap. Started by drilling out the 2 NAS keeper rivets holding the flap brace to the skin. Used a right angle drill attachment to get between the skins to drill the rivets. Easy to remove since they were very lightly squeezed. Then I removed the flap hinge and deburred all holes. Using the dremel, I cut off 2 eyes in the center of the hinge that rivets to the wing skin. Also removed 1 eye from the hinge riveted to the flap. This was done to facilitate insertion/removal of the hinge pins from the center out to each end of the flap. I removed the wing skin to gain access to the clecos holding the flap brace to the rear spar (inserted on the front side of the spar thru the flap brace). Then I drilled out the 2 aluminum pop rivets holding the brace to the spar—locations I could not reach to cleco.
